Since April I've gone from [clothes on] 10st 11lbs to 10st. I feel ok, maybe a bit more tired in the afternoons but perk up after dinner at 6ish.

No loss of appetite, same diet/foods as usual, not doing more exercise just trying to walk for 1hr most days as usual.

I'm motivated, active, always doing something in the house and garden but relax too. I feel well balanced.

However my cousin became very unwell in April and died in May. I've been grieving for that...and for the loss of a close friendship nearly 18 months ago, [and a bit worried about each of my sons who are dealing with health issues].

I put it down to that, but think I better see the GP now. Anyone else experienced this, hopefully with a positive outcome? Getting worried now. [I'm 75 and live on my own].

You should be having regular health checks anyway- at least a cardio/blood pressure one.

Why not contact your GP and I'm sure they will give you some time.

I have, I lost 20lb at the rate of 1lb a week in spite of, eventually, stuffing myself silly with food I didn’t want.
At first I put it down to the stress of moving house though it went well and I didn’t feel particularly stressed. Then I got worried because I couldn’t stop it and was also having digestive issues that seemed to indicate some sinister cause.
I saw my doctor who put me on the two week pathway. Eventually, after scans, ‘scopies north and south plus blood tests, my body was found to be in perfect nick for my age.
The doctor concluded that as soon as I got moved, it would stop, and it did, straight away.
Your mind definitely affects the workings of your body. But see your doctor you should, you can feel well but not be.
Incidentally, I was delighted with the weight loss when I knew I was OK but sadly, most has returned!
Good luck!

Go and ask for a blood test you could have undiagnosed diabetes. I lost weight without trying and I had diabetes discovered in 2013. If you do have it you need to know as it is dangerous to you if not treated
