My GP ordered one for me, when I had bowel problems, following a bout of food poisoning. Fortunately, came back negative. But the food poisoning has left me with IBS.
My kit arrived within 10 days of seeing my GP. And, results, within 2 weeks.

I have been wondering if this is still ongoing for you?
Hope you dont mind me asking.

Mine came a couple of weeks after the letter, however, I have often wondered why that letter is sent at all?

Mine testing kit came within couple of weeks of letter saying it was on its way. Results came back very quickly too. The actual test is also easier to do.

Thanks crazyH …. I’ve usually had mine as part of the NHS programme. They are usually ok … but understand the delay is caused by increase in patient requests

Anyone else waiting for a kit for bowel testing for cancer? I should have received mine in Feb. I rang and enquired … very pleasant lady said they are experiencing a delay and I should have it by hopefully by the end of May. Thinking about buying a private test kit … anyone used them? I have diverticulitis and like to have some reassurance.
