Here I am again!
I got my immediate denture 10 days ago and had very painful sores. I have been back for adjustment and they are now clearing up.
I explained to the dentist that it felt too high at the back and it was ok after adjustment.
The problem is, that first thing in the morning, it still feels too high and although my back teeth meet, my front teeth don't quite meet. During the day, however, it settles into a comfortable position.
Had anyone else experienced this?
I don't want to have it adjusted in case it causes more of an issue and anyway my dentist is on holiday next week.
I know it's an immediate, so won't be very comfortable but I'm concerned that if I get a permanent one in 3 months I'll just be wasting my money and it will be just as uncomfortable.
My old denture was hardly noticeable but I couldn't have teeth added as it was a metal one.
I would prefer another metal one but it's likely that I will need more teeth added in future.
Sorry about the long story!
do you have plasterboard on your walls?
Bonnie Blue the MSM should stop all reporting.
