Bustiers and corset tops? I'm thinking of boned ball gowns I used to wear (in a previous life!). One didn't need a bra.

But thinking of what you said about the patch of skin in question not to be covered, does that mean you can't wear even a loose shirt?

Just give in and accept not wearing a bra for a while. Just don’t jump up and down!
All joking apart, I hope your problem is soon sorted as comfortably as possible. I’m sorry I have no suggestions other than going bra-less for a while.

You can get vests/t-shirts with built in bra support. Some have the racer style back, which may help you.

Is the cream EFUDIX? Makes it scab up?

A sports bra with racer back might work.

Loose clothing is ok , it’s just the bra strap that’s the problem. Consultant suggested going bra-less …… ok for a day or two but not 4 weeks!

Thanks everyone for your replies/suggestions , I think a sports top might be the most comfortable . I’m not looking forward to the treatment as I have several patches needing attention . At least it’s been diagnosed early, excellent fast-track clinic at our local hospital.

I had to use Efudix on my nose. The skin scabbed and was very tight, dry and sore.
After reading up about it online I soothed it with Vaseline, not something I would have thought to use but it helped.

Could you wear your normal bra but let the shoulder strap drop down on that side?

I rarely wear a bra because straps run over my pacemaker. Only in a summer top.
