I can only speak highly of our local hospitals who are always efficient and friendly.

Everyone at our local hospital and GP surgery are kind, caring and helpful. Sadly that is not everyone's experience in other hospitals and GP practices across the country.

Delighted you have had a good experience. Hope your OH's op went well.

I arrived with my DD to have a pacemaker fitted. We were on time. When we we arrived we were directed to the place we had to go. It turned out it was right across the other side of the hospital down long corridors. We set off and it was slow .... I walk with a stick and was in atrial fibrillation so very out of breath.
We arrived breathless and were greeted by a very grumpy nurse nurse who said in a accusatory tone ... "Oh we thought you weren't coming." Her grumpiness continued .... not what I needed when facing a nerve-wracking bit of surgery. My DD was really cross.

Sadly most hospitals are like the philosophers egg, some parts very good and other parts bad. That’s how it is at my local hospital anyway.

So glad you had a good experience.

That's so good to hear.
Best wishes to your DH for a full and speedy recovery

We have a fantastic hospital too I ve never been seen by a doctor nurse carer or cleaner without a smile and kindly help
They all seem to get on so well In the reception area we have a big board of information and a country flag from the 52 countries in the world that the staff all come from
My friend has been in three times this year and has only praise every time she said how wonderful they all were

My O. H. had to go into hospital (day surgery) for a small op. from the moment we arrived, till we left each and every one of the staff couldn't have been more helpful. first of all we went to reception and were told we had come to the wrong place...the the ward we wanted was at the other end of the hospital, one of the staff heard this, came over and took us to where we needed to go, when my husband was taken to theatre ,the nurse turned to me and asked if I'd like a cuppa, and went to make me a coffee,,,everyone we met had a smile and said hello,it really makes a difference..
