Elora cream for sweat rash.

Has anyone tried the Elora cream that I am always seeing advertised on social media?

I use Daktacort, as suggested by my GP, when I get a sweat rash under my breasts in hot weather. The pharmacist says not to use it too much as it contains hydrocortisone.

I don't want to buy an expensive cream if it doesn't work and we all know that the glowing reviews on the ads are not to be believed.

You could try metanium. It works for me.

Would an anti histamine help?

I use Sanex roll on deodorant under boobs (and underhang) and I find I don’t hardly get a sweat rash any more.

When it gets really sore Canestan 2% works wonders. Otherwise Sudocreme is excellent. I also use a strong antiperspirant roll on under boobs and overhang tum which really helps. (Revlon Mitchum Women Triple Odor Defense 48HR Protection Deodorant Stick and Antiperspirant). Sweat pads from Amazon are good too.

I suffered in the last heatwave,so made the decision to go for a bra fitting at m&s. Looks like I have been wearing the wrong size for years. Since buying & wearing the new size & design (underwire) I have not suffered because I am more supported/lifted. They take a bit of getting used to, but I’m glad I changed now.

I use a powder from Amazon - not talc, but does have corn starch and oat kernel oil called WOMN and it works very well, about £10.

I use aloe vera gel as I have eczema, psoriasis and sweat rashes sometimes, too. It's very cooling when it goes on but can be a bit nippy if you have some broken skin. I tried it as I had been using steroid creams and was concerned as I had seen the state of my MIL's skin after using steroids for 40 years. I have completely stopped the steroids for my eczema and psoriasis and my skin is okay although I still get flare ups sometimes.

I just use talcum powder , I put in on after a shower and before I put my bra on

I really miss Lanacaine powder. Used to love putting that on after a nice shower for the cooling effects.

I have tried E45 anti itch cream and also Eurax cream.
Just a reminder that an itchy rash could also be shingles. like my GD has.

I’m inundated with these adds too. Fortunately I have not suffered from this for a long time, as I now apply roll on antiperspirant (Aldi’s cheapest!) You do need the rash to be pretty well cleared when you start, so this advice is no use if the rash is active! You just roll it under your boobs, in groin or other folds you sweat in. It really works. I am diabetic, and suffered a lot a couple of years ago. I heard the tip on the radio, and it’s been a game changer for me, not had it at all since. It has to be antiperspirant, not just deodorant. (I use Fussy deodorant underarm, I fell for that advert! 😁)

I have found best solution to this having tried endless creams, medicated talc and absorbent pads is prevention in the form of Sure women's antiperspirant deodorant stick. I put it on every morning and I'm hardly getting sore and itchy at all now.

I use Medipure body powder and breast sweat pads which i bought off Amazon, the combination works perfectly, only been using breast sweat pads for 3 weeks and they really work.
I’ve tried Dacktacort, Sudocrem and they eased the soreness, but the breast pads and body powder keep everything dry.
An added bonus is the pads are washable.
It works for me, try it.

Wow. Loads of suggestions.
Thank you all.

Sudocreme if sore, Vaseline if not. Braless when possible as this seems to aggravate and keep it dry . Good luck!

Been googling the Snake Brand powder - it does have talc in so shall avoid . I quite like the Johnsons baby powder now it is talc free .

Fold in half a man’s hanky and place under your breasts - push it up a little under your bra or breasts if braless. I fold mine diagonally so it covers more across - wise. I bought a dozen from Amazon just for me! Was changing it a few times a day in the heat. No rash or redness!

Another here recommending my go-to … a light dusting of Cuticura talc.

I've started using cotton under-boob sweat pads from Amazon - £6.99 for four - and find they're making a real difference. Very comfortable and they wash and dry overnight in this weather. I get very itchy sore under-boob sweat rash (intertrigo) every summer, and nothing works (have had lots of different things from GP and elsewhere). I'm so pleased with these little pads! In Amazon, search "sweat pads for under breasts".

dysongirl Sun 28-Jun-26 14:36:48

I've was prescribed something name i cannot remember by my g.p. for this, went to pick prescription up in chemist.
Was told they don't do particular cream any more.
So chemist told me i needed 2 seperate creams.
Daktarin cream and Hydrocortisone cream
Which i have to mix together twice daily

Narnia Sun 28-Jun-26 14:24:44

Ive found that most creams don't help as it remains "wet"
Sudocrem is ok
I've just been prescribed intraconazole tablets and they have helped, no rash in this awful heat

Lupatria Sun 28-Jun-26 14:22:25

i use clotrimazole - have done for years. when the "sting" occurs a quick application or two gets rid of the problem.
i am a quite well endowed older lady and gravity seems to have got the better of my boobs so I lie down after application.
i've also got a big tummy (my overhang!) so i also lie down to apply the cream.

Mojack26 Sun 28-Jun-26 14:04:55

1% hydocortisone cream. Get it anywhere

debwh142 Sun 28-Jun-26 14:04:31

I gave in and bought Clairon after seeing the adverts and the packaging looks exactly the same, and like you I was skeptical but willing to try anything
However during this hot weather and before it has worked wonders. I used it for about 5 days straight and since then no rash, itching sweatiness under my boobs. It's a bit of a faff after taking a shower to gently dry the areas and apply the cream and wait 1 minute for it to dry, good job no one has seen me sat on the bed holding my boobs up in the air to dry the area but once dry that's it, although I think you can reapply it if needed during the day
So for me I am very happy with it, no sweaty boobs. no itching from bras, no red rash that gets sore and no feeling like I need to shower or wash during the day due to sweating.

I haven’t tried Elora cream but I do use Snake Brand cooling talc which works very well for sweat rash and prickly heat. It also helped recently when I got a lot of mosquito bites, relieving the itching quite a bit. I buy it on Amazon
