I’ve been referred for an ultrasound guided injection and am considering going privately. If you’ve had one, which professional actually did it? I’m looking at a physiotherapist led MSK clinic, I assumed it would be a doctor.
Thanks.

I had that condition. My GP gave ne 3 options.
1. Cortisone injection
2. Physiotherapy
3. Bide my time and it will get better.
I took options 3 and the pain eventually went.
Depends on how painful it is as to which course of action you take. It was uncomfortable and I used a stick for a time. For me, simply waiting worked.
Only you know how bad it is. Take your GPs advice and I hope you recover very soon. Good luck !
