You can get "pill poppers for blister packs", might make it easier?

I shall have a look for one of those, thanks. X

I find an old pen knife run down the side of the foil works better.

I recently bought a "pill popper" but if I were you, I wouldn't bother! It's not very easy to use and doesn't like capsules shaped pills - just breaks them in half. And even with ones that are the conventional shape and size, you have to press quite hard before they fall out. I'm glad it was cheap!

Be careful which tablets you try to pop with the squeezy gadgets - some of the more brittle ones can break.
I used to have trouble with the loosened tablets bouncing about all over the work surface until I laid down a folded towel to work on - works a treat, they just drop on the towel and stay there.

Thanks for the information - I was unaware of these gadgets. I shall certainly give them a go.

I recently discovered that with the particular pills I take, pushing them through is easier if I start to push at the end nearest the centre of the package. It may not work for your particular pills but it is worth a try.
