Blackpool named UK's number one resort

great that the sea is getting some attention, the marine conservation society as issued a warning, so at last Blackpool's council has enlisted help from United Utilities and Lancashire county council to set up a water management group, so we could be paddling safely in a couple of years, who knows!! sunshine

It's great to hear that the council and other bodies are going to take action. On a sunny day like today the beach is one of the area's greatest assets and we should look after it. Had a lovely afternoon on the sand dunes at St Annes with GCs . Took a picnic and didn't spend a penny!
