Wednesday 7th August 2013

10.00am - 4.00pm

Stratford Bandstand

Activities include:

Climbing Wall, Circus Skills,
Puppet Show, Half Pipe,
& Fun and Games.

ALL FREE

If you have your Grandchildren on Wednesday then come along. Everyone welcome. smile

Yes agreed Nana2 Mary Arden's Farm amazingly good value and great for children. We didn't get to sample their lovely home made cupcake but that's perhaps for next time.

Lovely visit to Mary Arden's Farm today with the added bonus of sunshine. 5 Grandparents and 5 Grandchildren all had a lovely picnic under the apple trees. Lots of fun had by all.

Kenilworth Castle is in a beautiful setting and Nada it sounds like a really good offer through English Heritage. Maybe this is where we can all meet up next time.

Just spent a wonderful morning at Kenilworth Castle. Far cheaper than its rival just down the road and less commercialised. We got a Senior Membership very reasonably (£58 for the two of us) through English Heritage and you can take up to 6 under 5s per person (perish the thought!) it lasts until September 2014, when hopefully all but one of the GC will be at school?
Good parking, a nice cafe, picnic tables, old ruins to clamber over and lots of lovely open spaces for running free.
