houses

can anyone local to truro give me any clue on the fernspatt area .Desperate to get away from suffolk so trying to find sensible houses around Cornwall .
We had two weeks down there a year or two ago but cannot remember the areas we liked the best so sorting out a shortlist to come again and look thats if the usless council and solicitors here would get their fingers out so we can exchange contracts . 8 years here and life is totaly on hold bought a new house and our useless council have still not adopted the roads .
Council tax here varys between £100 & £200 more than cornwall for the same band house.In fact we are the 7th highest for coucil tax in the country .I think i could write a book about council lies and incompetance .
Any suggestions for areas most welcome hubby seems to like the truro area and we would like land with the house.
