If you live in the Loughton area you probably know about the Loughton Festival, but did you realise that the whole 4-week festival is run entirely by volunteers?
We urgently require volunteers to help us lay out our venues and tidy up again afterwards, make teas, sell tickets, and generally help out. You only need to volunteer at one event, and of course that will mean you get in free too!
In April we will need help delivering programmes, so if you can pick up a bundle from Loughton and deliver them to your neighbours and friends that will really help - and we always welcome people from outside of Loughton as you are the only way we can get word out that the Loughton Festival is on!
If you would like to help, please email [email protected] and we will send you a volunteering list so you can choose what you do. The whole festival will be used to raise money for Essex Ambulance and the Loughton Youth Project, so please get involved as last year we could not serve teas at two events because we did not have any volunteers to make it.
On 28 May we will need at least 100 volunteers for our family fun day (see event listing), so if you would like to volunteer as a steward, we would love to hear from you.
