The University of Manchester is running a study to better understand how people actually recover after knee replacement surgery - not just pain levels, but day-to-day movement and activity. Your existing fitness data could help researchers understand how people actually recover after surgery.
You can take part if:
- You had a knee replacement in the UK between 2017 and 2023.
- You used any of the following devices at least six months before and one year after your knee replacement surgery:
- iPhone (iPhones automatically collect activity data (such as steps and movement)
- Apple watch
- Oura Ring
- Fitbit
Joining the study only takes a short time, but your contribution could make a meaningful difference.
