Petition to downgrade substandard, unprotected lay-bys built in the 60s and 70s

Please add your support to this campaign to downgrade the narrow unprotected lay-bys on the A14 and other dual carriageways which do not meet current safety standards.

I drive past this lay-by every week late at night. There are no street lights on this right hand bend and it is near to a main slip road off the A14 here in Suffolk. This petition is calling for improvements to lay-bys throughout the country not just on the A14
