I don't know much about how aid monies are spent in India, but I do lobby the UN for money to provide education for girls and women worldwide. Education for girls has to be the key in changing such practices.

I did read it and found it believable. Of course the long term solution is to educate the women and girls but as usual the people at the very bottom of the heap are being exploited. It is heart breaking.
And I have heard women in Europe saying feminism is no longer needed. How selfish and short-sighted can anyone get?
