Politicians. What's new? Nothing.

How can politicians really know what is going on? The answer is they can't and have to have advisors to tell them what to do and what to say. Reshuffles and elections throw everything up in the air again and again just as they're getting used to their particular role. The system is a mess. The politicians are a right bunch who are not of the real world. I've said it before and I'll say it again that I'm really disappointed with this Government. They've had a golden opportunity to be honest and begin the difficult task of putting things right but they're too full of their own self importance. Still, would I want to be in their shoes? Could I do any better? It's easy to squawk from the side lines.

Did anyone else see the "Are you a Roundhhead or Cavalier?" programme last night?

They likened Cameron to a Cavalier ...out for a good time, in with the money crowd! And guess what ...they likened the other one (Milliband) to a Roundhead ...trying to be serious and work orienitated, one of the people!

I totally agree with you regarding journalists, both newspaper and T.V. I don't think any M.P. can be themselves because the slightest mistake is jumped on and becomes headline news, ridiculous. I just wish we could have less bias, even by highly regarded operatives such as the B.B.C. I am sick and tired of partisan politics when we are in such a b----y mess. If I see Ed Ballls grinning like the cheshire cat once more when financial news is dire I will scream. If I see the Speaker of the House interfere much more I will scream and if Clegg and Cameron keep on with stupid group hugs I will scream. Gues what AAAAAAAGH.

I do however like Andrew Neil, he is the best interviewer without a doubt and he does actually try not to be bias. He certainly knows his onions and I love the way he says "I'll take that as a no then' if they refuse to answer his questions. He knows where the skeletons lye and I bet he could write a book.

I really do think Ed Milliband is lacking social intelligence. Even when I am cringeing about the pun or joke he is about to make and know it will fall flat, he still makes it!

Politicians are out to impress if you need an answer you have to listen to Polly Toynbee, Germaine Greer who aren't worried about popularity.

But in George Eliots 'Felix Holt' it makes the point that voting doesn't work. It is a numbers game,

I have nearly always had minority interests and perhaps the Greens would get my vote but do they stand a chance....

Agree totally POGS re the ghastly Ed Balls & his cat like grin, he & the equally ghastly Gordon Brown got us into this mess in the 1st place!..Cant agree about Polly Toynbee a so called socialist..she sends her kids to private schools! As did Diane Abbott....I hate hypocrisy more than anything.
