Yes Grannyknot that's it. She has been "portaitised". I suppose it has to blend in with other traditional type royal portraits in the future. (when it's hanging in, say, The National Portrait Gallery)

I dont like it... it looks like one of those photo fix of what you will look like in 20yrs.

No artistic talent apparent at all. They might as well have used one of the soft focus photographs and saved the cost of the paint.

Don't like it, either. She looks weary and grey-faced. Her expression makes her look as if she's about to say, "Well, actually, you really p.ss me off!" hmm

Poor girl. She's been portraitised. Doesn't look like a young fresh faced person at all.

Rolf Harris would have done a better job!

I don't like it, her eyes look slitty.

annodomini Fri 11-Jan-13 10:50:47

I think it's horrible! Her eyes look unfocused. She looks as she may look in 20 years.

j07 Fri 11-Jan-13 10:49:40

Makes me think of this!

j07 Fri 11-Jan-13 10:46:28

Well her eyes probably are wonky! hmm wink

I think she looks tired.

He's given it that "historical" look. IYSWIM

I agree that the nose doesn't look right - too broad.

Riverwalk Fri 11-Jan-13 10:43:20

Looks more like her mother!

Mishap Fri 11-Jan-13 10:37:26

Dear me! Her eyes look slightly wonky and her nose large, as if through a fish-eye lens!

first official portrait unveiled

How do you like it? I think it's good.

The London Standard seems to be the first out with it!
