That thread hopping was fun, JO, but impossible now with so many threads.

Sagazone was an excellent website and used by hundreds of people to arrange meetings, social events, holidays and general chat. I have never seen anything offensive and think Saga is just cost cutting as many things have been downgraded recently with Saga products. To suddenly close the site today despite advising the end of the month is another disgrace. We have a good group in the Manchester area and are now having to regroup on another site causing major inconvenience to many. This is one step too far Saga!

At one time Jings and someone else had a race to see if they could be the last post name on every single active thread. (I don't think anyone did quite manage it but it came close a couple of times.) Perhaps there is now a race to see if someone can get every single thread deleted.

I listened to a Saga Member on car radio today and the lady got very emotional and upset as it was her only contact with the outside world so-to-speak unfortunately there are and always will be people who have such small worlds that they get satisfaction from destroying other peoples.So let SAGA go to h...[grin

I thought Absent was only articulating what many posters have said, that they would prefer not to have any repetition of the unpleasantness that manifested itself over the last few days.
