Will he get made redundant? Will he be TUPEd across from the RAF to the private company?
Guess he could fall back on the job of bring Prince, unless this is also to be outsourced?

The job of being king has already been outsourced – in 1714.

Had to look it up. Ah - Anne died and monarchy outsourced to German call centre. I see.
Seems Prince will have finished his "tour" before the threat of redundancy looms.

I can't believe they are actually going to do this, I did read that there might be a problem with 'civilian' helicopter pilots not being allowed to fly in bad weather! That kinda makes it a non-starter doesn't it? Bad weather more often than not going hand in hand with search and rescue.

Do not think this is a good move.

Is there no end to Defence cuts? We'll have Prince Philip handing his uniforms back next!

Outsource Prince Phillip to the Indian army. Now there's an idea.

I just can't see this ending well! It's just not something you want privatised and where are the RAF and Navy pilots going to get the practice? I thought part of the point of the service was that it was good for them to get the experience in all sorts of conditions.

There's a job going at the Harvester in Sutton Coldfield which Prince William may be able to do.

When will this Government start to actually think things through? I thought coalitions were supposed to result in more moderate, considered government as all parties put in their two pen'orth worth, but this lot just seem to charge around firing off idiotic ideas all over the place.

They have already done their best to wreck the coastguard service, so perhaps this privatisation is designed to complete the job.

Well one things for certain if William did lose his job he would still get his redundancy and I can't imagine he would struggle to make his mortgage payments every month. They could always put the kid into the local sure start ( is there a program in Kensington?) and Kate could get a job in her millionaire parents company. Or else maybe Waitrose would give her a column?

Ha ha ha bonk that was me literally laughing my head off !
