It's a mad, mad, world.....

Appalling!

When I read the headline, I just knew it would be in America. Another gun tragedy that should never have happened.

Why would anyone give a child that young a rifle and why would any parent let him keep it?

Gun control is not enough.They need to prohibit making the dang things!!

Sickening.

"A gun-toting beanie baby" - for heaven's sake!!! It's just sick.

It's a bad, bad world...

If a drug dealer had caused this death, he/she would be charged. Why is it legal for a manufacturer to produce guns specifically designed for children? Sickening.

It was given to him a year ago, so he was only FOUR at the time! Absolutely unbelievable and unforgivable!

That's terrible

Shocking and very sad. And makes me angry too,

Guns are made to kill or threaten a killing and for no other reason. Why would a 5 year old need one!!

For goodness sake...

It would be unbelievable if you didn't know it was, sadly, true...

For those who don't read the whole article, it ends;

The Crickett is just one of many child-sized rifles on the market and is sold with the tag line 'My First Rifle.' It comes in a number of child-friendly barrel designs and colors, including hot pink for little girls.

Words fail me, ga.
