A bit like "what's your favourite biscuit".

Weren't both he and Nick asked on some phone-in whether they wore jockey shorts or boxers?

Galen Sat 15-Jun-13 09:09:43

Rich tea and satin nightdresses for megrin

Gagagran Sat 15-Jun-13 09:24:43

Cotton t-shirt nightie and jammy dodgers for me!

j08 Sat 15-Jun-13 09:32:11

The Today programme seemed very taken up with whether he actually wears pyjamas! grin

The biscuit things goes back to a webchat Mumsnet had with, I think, Gordon Brown, when that question was put to him. It got into the newspapers of course. grin

What's the connection with pyjamas and biscuits? Cotton M&S pyjamas for me [in black]; biscuits would be digestive if I dared to have them in the house [along with Hob Nobbs I can't stop till the whole packet is gone; even worse if they've got chocolate on]. Wonder how long most people stay in their jimjams? If I'm not at work or having to go out mine stay on until I need to be clothed blush. Although I have bought a posh Per Una pair that I'm going to treat with reverence [ie not do the gardening in them or walk the dog to the end of the road late at night... must point out it's not a long road...]

I sleep in the buff! Can't be doing with all that elastic, sleeves etc. If I could guarantee no one would see me I would sunbathe nude too. grin

Definitely jammy dodgers, with wafers coming second - any kind.

DH has just been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Another ailment to add to his long list so I'm glad we don't eat biscuits. I like a sneaky Rich Tea but he'd eat the lot so I'll have to give them up as well sad.

I love my jim-jams as half my morning chores can be done before I need to get showered and dressed.

I did a lot of gardening in my nightie last year. Not this year though for some strange reason. hmm #parky

j08, you would be a natural for Frank's 4am gardening club!

I remember, as a new mother, being told not to get dressed as soon as I got up. The idea was that slopping around in a dressing gown made you less likely to plunge into a whole lot of housework and more likely to sit around relaxing with your new baby. Do you think that after 39 years it's time I started getting dressed? wink

Cream crackers and all sorts of nighties for me.

harrigran Sat 15-Jun-13 19:04:51

Baggy pyjamas and caramel wafers.

annodomini Sat 15-Jun-13 19:14:29

Scarlet fleece PJs and bourbons for me!

Tegan Sat 15-Jun-13 19:23:06

I told my doctor after I'd had my first child that I was very tired even though I'd been doing what he advised which was having a lie down when I had the chance. He said I'd only relax properly if I got properly undressed and ready for bed; if I just lay down in whatever I was wearing I wouldn't nod off. And he was right. Although I do remember the times when, having finally got some clothes on part way through the day baby would then throw up all over me.

If the snow and ice make it impossible to go out at home in the Alps, I will have a bath and get back into my warm pyjamas for a duvet day. At the moment, I am wearing very thin poplin pyjamas that I bought for the NZ summer - which was not as hot as the Egyptian summer! (I am on holiday at The Red Sea.)
I don't eat cakes , biscuits or pastries but when I did it would have to be McVities Chocolate Digestive especially dunked in hot chocolate.

Nelliemoser Sat 15-Jun-13 19:59:30

Cotton pyjamas. Dark chocolate digestives. I rarely slob around the house in pyjamas. I would get even less done than I do at present.

I can't access the link but get the drift. I am currently wearing dark pink satin pyjamas with white piping and drinking tea with an Anzac biscuit. (It's shortly after seven on Sunday morning here.)

Ella46 Sat 15-Jun-13 20:38:54

I couldn't wear pyjamas in bed, so I wear a cotton T shirt nightie, but I put pyjamas on at night to slob lounge about in, and also in the morning sometimes.
Biscuits..............any sort, bring 'em on grin
