The revolving door.

I have a feeling that people from the MOD are especially good at the revolving door thing. No wonder its books never balance, even though Philip Hammond (?) claims that he has made them do so. The miracle of the disappearing multi-million deficit.

It is true I am a retired tax inspector, but in this case my interest is purely non-professional. So many MPs who have had dealings with a company when in a position to influence decisions which affected the company have moved seamlessly to a lucrative position with that company immediately on leaving office. There is supposed to be a 'cooling-off' period but there are many ways to get round it.
Before anybody thinks I am just speaking of Conservative MPs, these dodgy people are from all parties. Sometimes it is the relatives that benefit - I think Mark Thatcher and Jonathan Prescott spring to mind.

I know your 'thing' is tax Greatnan but I'd also mention people like Cynthia Bowers making a cod's of running mid-Staffs hospitals and then being given the CQC to run. There must be hundreds more people they could have employed instead. #offthehobbyhorsenowkitty
