Skim read this, felt the usual rising irritation that comes with allowing any thought of what is happening to welfare/social justice currently, and decided to walk the dogs and relax

My blood is boiling. But am I surprised? No. angry

Unbelievable to read this is happening in the 21st century.
Still, never mind the NPs are likely to receive a pay rise of at least £4000 a year. The money obviously has to come from somewhere to pay these hard working folk!

This petition might gather momentum now this information has been published.

A spark of good news though. The number of private banks in Switzerland has dropped to 125 . The avoiders must be feeling the pinch.

Have signed that, when and shared it on FB.

I've just Googled 'petitions against Atos' and see there are several different ones on the go, some of which have many more signatures than the one I posted below.

Obscene.

Galen Mon 01-Jul-13 21:29:04

Can't comment!

(But most of you know my thoughts)

trendygran Mon 01-Jul-13 21:33:24

Totally obscene.! All these MPs, especially the 'top dogs'?? should be made to spend a week in an inner city rundown estate, living with a family on ,or below, the breadline. without any private money to see them through. Even then I guess they'd remain totally arrogant.

I've signed and shared the petition of face pack as well When. I watched the tv programme about the Workhouse last week, and had a growing sense of despair about the similarities then and now. The approach to deserving and undeserving poor reminds me of Angela's Ashes - grim isn't it.

Thank you when signed and shared.

Know a couple of people involved in dealing with Social Security appeals. For the last 10 years at least, their opinion of ATOS and the quality of the medical staff they employ has been unprintable.

Goose Tue 02-Jul-13 09:41:02

It irks me that they're described as 'earning' anything. To me, what they do is not 'earned'....

This sickens me. This country appears to be run by a load of bully boys.

Nonu Sun 18-Aug-13 20:14:39

And the real trouble is they are Labour & Tories , not much too choose eh!!

Greatnan Sun 18-Aug-13 20:18:57

I see you really do think about the policies, Nonu!

Nonu Sun 18-Aug-13 20:24:54

G/Nan , you are not having a little pop at me by any chance?

Greatnan Sun 18-Aug-13 20:57:10

As if I would, Nonu. I was just glad to see that you do, in fact, think about politics before you vote.
