Yes, I have ridden a horse a few times, jings, though a proper rider would probably just say I'd sat on one while it moved about 
Horses' four legs don't move independently of each other, just as our two don't. It's team work. That aside, I agree it's probably bumpy at times. So what? So is rough cycling. So is Scottish dancing. I did my RSCDS teaching certificate (two weeks intensive course dancing jigs and reels) when I was just short of seven months pregnant with DD3. I was 44 at the time and carried on dancing, though I did slow down a bit in the last few weeks, until she was born. No problems.
