It is indeed, when, especially as we don't have a siesta culture or a tradition of early afternoon closing, then evening opening of shops and businesses.

Thanks, anno. So the answer to my question is essentially "no". The answer to the question "Can you opt out of the Moslem religion?" is "no" too. hmm
