New £1 coin

Yes, I thought that about parking and trolleys, I think quite a few things will need adapting. However I do like the shape of the new £1 coin, it's very pleasing, and reminds me of the happy purchasing power of the old 'thruppeny bit' as when given one I would be straight off to the sweet shop.I wasn't a child much given to saving.

I was wondering if it will actually be the Queen's head depicted. Or by then will it be King Charles or King William?

I already use a charity token for supermarket trolleys, it hangs on my key ring.

They are going to be asking for public suggestions for the 'tail' side. Anyone got any bright ideas ??

Is this a way of parking using mobiles phones rather than a £1 in the slot - because all the pay machines will have to be adapted and someone will have to pay!
