Yes, totally agree with you. This is the second time in the last 10 days that a death of a famous person has been reported in those terms. It is so misleading and unscientific. So much ignorance on such topical illness is devastating for sufferers especially.

Such a nice man, too by all accounts.
Sorry to read reports that he died "following a diagnosis of Parkinson's in 2011" - but nothing to do with Parkinson's as far as anything I have read on health websites and official Parkinson's UK website.
2 weeks after Parkinson's Awareness Week, we're still not aware.

So sorry to hear this. I first remember seeing him in the learning to read for adults series that the BBC did years ago and he made an impression just doing something like that.

People cannot help aging....would much rather see dignified (or undignified!) aging than those who feel they need help to disguise what is a quite natural process.

Just read that Bob Hoskins has died. Such a good actor, I first came saw him in The Long Good Friday - one of my favourite films.
