Those who are aware of the secretive TTIP talks between the EU and the US have been concerned that there has been no coverage. Today in my local paper there was a letter raising the issue and there were several letters in the Guardian also.
At this turbulent time, with so many terrible things happening in the world, it may seem the least of our worries. But the real risk of an agreement containing clauses that will enshrine the right of multinationals to sue governments for loss of future profits will make the £224m bill regarding the failed e-border contract pale into insignificance.
