Echoes of Lorena Bobbit over 20 years ago? She was found not guilty due to the abuse she'd suffered at his hands. Having said that the surgeons managed to reattach it and she didn't throw it in the waste disposal.

This happened in Canada. Would she have got such a harsh sentence if she had cut off one of his fingers, or his ears?
