I knew, but couldn't see the connection between a Russian feminist punk collective and a group of pensioners trying to save their hospital in the face of what they see as treacherous NHS management.

We'll done Pogs this does relate to the all women group of protestors in Russia. However, as this thread has shown not everyone knows this and have misunderstood the video, which is the fault of the video maker IMO.

If the poet thought that that dreadful poem reminded me in way of the band - it did not! Pussy Riot are the girl band who were sent to prison in Russia for performing in a church. It's nothing to do with genitalia unless you accept there is innuendo.

Pussy Riot were feted by some for challenging the establishment but they also go out to shock, hence there is/was a YouTube clip of one of the band actually using a frozen chicken in a supermarket, how shall I say this, using the frozen chicken as Anne Summers Toy . I'm no prude but it is quite shocking.

It doesn't offend or make me have an opinion about Audrey but was it wise to associate the name of the hospital with Pussy Riot when you dig a bit deeper into what they are.
