Too sad to talk about really

Whatever one's personal thoughts may be on immigration, that is so sad, so many are involved and it is not a one/off. Also I nearly wept reading and seeing those people who had been burned- had horrific injuries and were in a sinking boat for days without treatment obviously. There does not appear to be a solution- they paid so much to be treated like scum- horrendous.

Well I would love to have held that little "cockroach" with the pink feet, and saved her.

Yes, I should have put it on here.

How can she think like that? How can the editor of the Sun have passed it as suitable to publish? I hope even Sun readers think that is beyond the pale.

Sorry I ought to have said, Katie Hopkins was celebrating the fact so many people attempting to reach Europe drowned. she referred to them as 'cockroaches'.

It's so terribly sad that people are driven to such desperate extremes, I can't get my head around the numbers involved.
The situation seems to be getting worse by the day.
Tragic and heartbreaking.

whitewave, your post popped up just as I'd read the link jendurham put on another thread about an article written in the Sun by Katie Hopkins.

I could weep

Just saw an advert relating to the migrants drowning in the Med. and a picture of someone carrying a baby - all you could see were two little feet in a pink baby grow and the rest of the baby was covered in a blanket she was obviously drowned. I cried.
