Potty people make me smile smile

Well, it's all starting now so the waiting hoards won't hopefully have long to wait!

Deedaa Fri 01-May-15 23:28:11

Since when has pregnancy stopped you being able to drive? The seat belt might be a problem but I don't see anything odd in her being able to steer the car!

jo1book Wed 29-Apr-15 12:22:21

Definitely eccentric, but some of them have breakfast coffee and pastries from the Cambridge's - tied with a pink ribbon! What a nice freebie.

loopylou Tue 28-Apr-15 20:36:36

Blame merlotgran smile!

jo1book Tue 28-Apr-15 20:33:58

I don't understand how this thread has got from royalist fans o swimming, Best way to keep the old pelvic muscles in shape!

loopylou Tue 28-Apr-15 20:15:04

Using Buch House swimming pool as a potential birthing pool is definitely OTT IMO grin

loopylou Tue 28-Apr-15 20:14:04

Including the obstetrician just in case.....?

jo1book Tue 28-Apr-15 20:10:54

Good luck to them; they are having a bit of fun. Every morning I switch on the news hoping the newly arrived baby has knocked the boring old election from top news spot,

durhamjen Tue 28-Apr-15 20:03:36

Up to five. Can't they count?

merlotgran Tue 28-Apr-15 20:00:52

Apparently there were five of them plus the nanny.

loopylou Tue 28-Apr-15 19:55:45

In the boot?
Wrestling with George?
Mopping up wet footprints?

rosequartz Tue 28-Apr-15 19:54:32

Although, where was the bodyguard?

rosequartz Tue 28-Apr-15 19:53:54

Well, at least she didn't have to get changed in front of everyone else in the communal changing room merlotgran

rosequartz Tue 28-Apr-15 19:52:52

I am going to send her some Raspberry Leaf Tea. Works well, as I can testify grin

merlotgran Tue 28-Apr-15 18:53:34

While they're sitting there or sleeping on a bench she's Gone Swimming!! grin

This gets funnier by the minute.

rosesarered Tue 28-Apr-15 18:14:07

The baby is due now, in fact the other day, so the people camping out will be getting fed up soon.

merlotgran Tue 28-Apr-15 17:13:15

I don't think they're going hungry grin

loopylou Tue 28-Apr-15 16:54:42

A week on I'd imagine a few have gathered cobwebs/given up/caught a cold / run out food/ fallen out with those nearby etc grin

Mishap Tue 28-Apr-15 10:23:02

Three cheers for good old British eccentrics!

merlotgran Tue 28-Apr-15 10:09:02

I wonder if they're still there? grin

Tegan Wed 22-Apr-15 22:45:33

I'm getting it mixed up with all the people who watched the French kings getting dressed I think!

absent Wed 22-Apr-15 22:26:46

Tegan It was just the one person – a Government Minister who was invariably a man – who had to be present to check that there wasn't a suspicion of another warming pan substitution. The late Queen Mother refused such an indignity when giving birth to Princess Margaret.

Tegan Wed 22-Apr-15 22:21:22

Thanks hilda; doesn't look as big tonight, but maybe I've just got used to it.ruby; I've got a postcard of Pope John Paul II that a friend sent me when he was working in Rome in 1985; he was working on a satellite called ITACSAT [my friend, not the Pope]. Found him very charismatic but ultimately a huge disappointment...so much promise at first but was so reactionary [the Pope, not my friend]. I waited for ages to see the Queen pass by in London once, but fainted just before she arrived sad.

hildajenniJ Wed 22-Apr-15 17:09:25

It's Venus Tegan.
I wish I had nothing to do, and plenty of money. I can't afford the time to hang around outside the Lindo Wing, I'll just have to wait for the announcement on TV.

Elegran Wed 22-Apr-15 16:43:34

Yes, size is large, weight is heavy.
