An over simplified explanation trisher, I wouldn't categorise Labour voters into two groups, I imagine their supporters would encompass a wide spectrum of different attitudes, social backgrounds, aspirations and concerns. Neither would I ask them to justify why they had voted in the way they did with the implication that they don't really understand what they are voting for. I imagine that they had very good reasons for reaching that conclusion. We live in a democracy for heavens sake, in spite of what Lily Allen may think, and as such, it's part of that process that the electorate choose to vote for a party, that in their opinion, will do the best job in governing our country.
