That's a bit of bright news this week durhamjen. I'm a Keir Starmer fan and like you, hope he gets to shadow Gove. Keir Starmer is intelligent, seems grounded and focussed on the rights of victims. Here'e hoping my assessment is correct.

Keir Starmer, the former DPP, is now Labour MP for Holborn and St Pancras.
I hope he gets given the post of shadow to Gove. He should be able to run rings round him.

If you put in any hobby for example, under the sun, and put chat forum after it, up one will pop.

I know quite a lot about some subjects, and not so much about others. I thought that was the same for most people in life, but perhaps not.

In the grand scheme of things, and bearing in mind all the left wing things that were talked about, and bearing in mind the result, well there is no more to say really.

Do you know how many Gransnetters there are and how we all voted and where we all live?

After how the election turned out, compared with what was talked about on gransnet, I dont think this site was influential!

If our human rights aren't eroded away it will be because it will prove impossible to actually come up with a legislative solution - good article in today's DT by a barrister - can't do link
