www.theguardian.com/society/2015/oct/20/fit-for-work-work-sanctions-work-capability-assessment

A 60 year old woman whose husband died was signed off work by her GP. Had a fit for work test and got no points, so has been put on JSA and required to job hunt but has no experience of computers. She was sanctioned because she wasn't putting the information in correctly.

This is appalling. Hope it does not happen to anyone on here.

Sorry, £8.5 million. Still a lot.

Efficiency savings.

Has anyone seen the advert?
How much better could that £85 million be spent in that department?

Just seen this in my emails.
It's terrible that this could happen and that the DWP canot be bothered or do not have time to tell him what the problem is as they see it.
I just hope the man does not have to go on hunger strike for long.
This is what efficiency savings and increasing debt recovery mean.

Does that mean taking more money from those that have none? Or does it mean paying fewer debt collectors?
Efficiency savings anywhere means fewer jobs.

Apologising now for the "u"s that slipped into Osborne - sorry.

Efficiency savings and increasing debt recovery
