She doesn't make me feel anything really. She's obviously a bit up herself but her children look happy and healthy so I can't really criticise her.
Our grandsons have to either walk or cycle two miles to the village if they want to see their friends in the holidays. I did drive them on that very hot day at the beginning of the month because it's open countryside with no shade and if there's a thunderstorm while they're up there (we get quite a few) I go and look for them and drive them home.
Our children used to spend their summer holidays either riding their ponies or bikes or walking to the village. We noticed how quickly DD1 put on weight when she passed her driving test.
Is it rude to not finish a book club choice that was selected by someone else?
