I was reading about another book yesterday which has just come out, Cameron's first five years by Anthony Seldon. The reviewer was saying how boring it was, as it wasn't the inside story at all, but interviews with Cameron's coterie.
The best bit in it was about Cameron saying to Merkel, "I am passionate about the single market, I am passionate about foreign policy cooperation, but if I do not listen to British public opinion then Britain will depart from Europe...what I want are changes that will make it possible for Britain to stay in."
Really?
It will be interesting to see which book sells the most copies.
