Wrong effin thread

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 21-Sept-15 15:04:56

You think they will operate it from China? With a big control panel?

whitewave Mon 21-Sept-15 15:04:22

It is because DC didn't offer him a job that he'd been promised
That's why I twittered on about a woman scorned.

DC still suppressed the tax fiddle though.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 21-Sept-15 15:02:03

It's not interesting. It was days of youth. He's a grownup now.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 21-Sept-15 15:01:00

He would have been slaughtered if he had published it before!!! The election wasn't only about Cameron.

Teetime Mon 21-Sept-15 15:00:12

Penis! DC has a penis- who knew?

Riverwalk Mon 21-Sept-15 14:55:17

Drugs, debauchery, pigs and penis ...... all very interesting .

But AIBU to ask why Ashcroft waited until after the General Election to publish?

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 21-Sept-15 14:51:45

HOw can you know that?

whitewave Mon 21-Sept-15 14:42:16

He still knew about Ashcroft's fiddle though.

I was reading about another book yesterday which has just come out, Cameron's first five years by Anthony Seldon. The reviewer was saying how boring it was, as it wasn't the inside story at all, but interviews with Cameron's coterie.
The best bit in it was about Cameron saying to Merkel, "I am passionate about the single market, I am passionate about foreign policy cooperation, but if I do not listen to British public opinion then Britain will depart from Europe...what I want are changes that will make it possible for Britain to stay in."
Really?
It will be interesting to see which book sells the most copies.

Elegran Mon 21-Sept-15 14:24:41

Or perhaps the writer's character, thinking that here was a good chance to sell his book by putting in some highly coloured (and have they been verified?) anecdotes about the PM's student antics ?

whitewave Mon 21-Sept-15 14:20:27

The university stuff isn't of interest except to give us an idea of Cameron's character.

whitewave Mon 21-Sept-15 14:18:23

Cameron knew of Ashcroft's tax status even though he denied it at the time.

whitewave Mon 21-Sept-15 14:14:50

Surprised none of the DM readers on here hadn't posted it already, quite a scandel-.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 21-Sept-15 14:13:41

No doubt he'll make some money from his book, but it's hardly going to harm DC. It's about student days for goodness sake!

Sorry whitewave. Try again. grin

durhamjen Mon 21-Sept-15 14:11:50

I agree, whitewave. It's so nice when it's one of their own.

whitewave Mon 21-Sept-15 14:05:14

grin Nice balance to JCs woes

Ashcroft sounds like a woman being scorned putting the boot in.

DC knew about his non Dom status even though he denied it.

Lots of titttle tattle about Oxford and the "sneery" club. What a horrible lot they are.
