So - if you do not believe the South Wales Argus and are wondering if it has a hidden agenda - do you believe the BBC has also? It has not just been reported in the SWA but on television, in other newspapers and I know from friends and relatives.
Anyway, a previous post indicated that you may think it is acceptable for Welsh patients to be treated in English private hospitals as long as they are treated, which surprised me somewhat, given the general consensus by leftwing posters that NHS = Good and Private = Bad
It don't find it unacceptable as the waiting lists are so long here.
DH was told he could possibly be seen some time this millennium for an orthopaedic appointment (or pay privately).
Other treatment can be as good as in England - as long as you are already in the system.
(Oh, unless too many babies arrive in Cardiff on one day in which case ambulance all the way to Somerset.)
