It surprised me,as I used to live there, and thought the Indian/ Pakistani population was well integrated and happy there, so hope it isn't the tip of the iceberg and just a one off.How these people can leave a civilised life here for the ruins of Syria is hard to understand.

I think it's interesting he was brought up Hindu and the little boy's mother is also a convert. Syria does seem an attraction for the disturbed and the naive.

Have you noticed how many of these jihadis are converts? It always said that there is no one more fervent in a religion than a convert.

I noticed David Cameron described him as a 'dispensable idiot' which I thought was an excellent description. It is a warning, he is dispensable. If his friends and allies in IS decide he could be a traitor, he will be executed with the same lack of justice that he showed last week's victims.

More to the point I think IS leaders put these people up to commit atrocities because they then become targets for drone attacks and IS hope that the drones will be targetting the idiots and spend less time looking for the real leaders. That is also why they are all from English speaking countries so that there propaganda can he heard and under stood in USA and the UK.

...and the man is too much of an idiot to realise that by appearing in these videos he is signing his own death warrant.

No nasturtiums cast, I always liked Walthamstow, found it a homely and friendly place to live, but it would be too busy and built up for me now.
