ja I can't think of anything as horrible as this. Very, very sad things happen. Children die for many reasons. But an act by a deranged woman cannot be discussed because there is nothing to say. Unless you are on a professional website for registered psychologists.

I agree morethan x

I can understand why POGS posted. Somtimes we're so shocked and appalled at somthing some of us need to just let it out. To share our despair and horror and get feedback that it's normal to feel like that. I did it myself recently in the middle of somone else thread. This feels like a safe place to air these feelings. I do think that the media have somthing to answer for in their reporting of terrorist activities It often feels as if they fuel the flames. But not here, we should be able to bear our feelings.

janea I agree.
Other people have started threads on horrifying news stories.
I am sickened too but haven't any further comment to make, it is too horrifying to contemplate.

Ana Mon 29-Feb-16 15:01:57

Still don't understand.

Anniebach Mon 29-Feb-16 15:00:30

nurses working with children,

Ana Mon 29-Feb-16 14:56:50

What have British nurses got to do with this, Anniebach? This woman was a nanny.

janeainsworth Mon 29-Feb-16 14:32:57

People frequently start threads about horrible, or very sad things that have happened.
I don't want to talk about the subject of this one but I don't understand why Pogs is being singled out for disapproval.

Anniebach Mon 29-Feb-16 14:11:14

So no British nurses for children because of Beverly Allet ?

Stansgran Mon 29-Feb-16 14:09:55

I very much doubt if POGS has posted in a spirit of let's gloat over the gory details.

Stansgran Mon 29-Feb-16 14:08:55

I knew nothing about this and I think it's perfectly reasonable for POGS to post if she so wishes. It is an open forum. I have a daughter who employs several nationalities in her childcare rota I am interested to know the background of the nanny.

I'm sickened

Was there really any need to announce this 'news' item?

We all have access to TV/radio so not as though we needed to be informed.

A bit sick to make a thread of it IMO.

Nelliemoser Mon 29-Feb-16 12:25:45

I agree that to discuss this dreadful crime is completely wrong.

Anniebach Mon 29-Feb-16 12:23:31

I don't understand why we need this post, unless it is to discuss if a person with a severe mental illness can be depraved

LullyDully Mon 29-Feb-16 12:19:35

Why is this vile story news?

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 29-Feb-16 12:07:27

Why make a thread of this? Unnecessary IMO. Sorry.

mollie Mon 29-Feb-16 11:55:17

She sounds mentally ill but what an awful thing to happen! That poor family! I suppose it is real and the pictures aren't faked somehow?

POGS Mon 29-Feb-16 11:05:10

Russia Today are showing a woman shouting "I'm a terrorist" carrying the head of a young child she was nanny to in Russia. She killed the child by beheading and set fire to her employers family home after the mother had taken the older child to school.

For God's sake how can the human race cope with this depravity.

She may or may not hold any terrorist links or association, she ' could well be mentally Ill' this is after all a breaking story. The woman has been arrested. The poor family, how the hell do you cope with that.

What a world sad
