In the Budget, Osborne announced a consultation on introducing parental leave for working grandparents. This was contained in the budget papers…
"To support families in this Budget, the government will launch a consultation in May 2016 on how to implement its commitment to extend Shared Parental Leave and Pay to working grandparents. The consultation will also cover options for streamlining the system, including simplifying the eligibility requirements and notification system, and will explore the potential to make better use of digital technology."
Details are pretty scarce but if you have an opinion on how you'd like the system to work, that would be helpful.
