I climbing on my soap box up again.
Freedom of Information. Sounds great, but it costs organisations thousands to provide the requested information, and much of it is totally trivial or for marketing.
There was a recent request by the BBC from every NHS trust in the country. That must have cost many hundreds of man hours to produce, I'm sure the NHS have greater priorities.
Imagine if you were asked to say how much you had spent on toilet rolls in the last 5 years. I can assure you this is the sort of stupid question that the county council, that my daughter works for, gets on a daily basis, all paid for by the council tax payer.
I shall now pack the soap box away.
