This may be one of the weirdest pieces of news I've ever come across: a tarot card reader in Brighton got a confession from a murderer. She called the police but they took their time coming because whoever received the 999 call thought it was a hoax!!!

I love those weird stories! I wonder if the tarot cards showed the murder (would it be the hangman?) so the murderer confessed, or did s/he confess before the reading? I think we should be told. grin

Oh, sorry I've just read the link. What a brave lady - and how useless were the police. Some funny comments have been left by readers of the article.

For once I can understand the police not racing around, they get cranks calls relating to every murder, would be psychics claiming to know about the crime
