Life-long anonymity for victims of forced marriage

There has only been one prosecution because of forced marriage since the outlawing of it in 2014 so this new measure to give victims life-long anonymity (in line with the same for victims of female gential mutilation) is an effort to get more prosecutions. It seems like good news: a step in the right direction in stopping forced marriages from happening.

bags I think the families of these victims have frightened them from birth and that takes a lot of getting over.
Some of the girls have been murdered by their families for refusing to marry these men.
