A great result and a very dignified way of accepting her victory by dedicating her speech to Jo Cox.
People I know who were campaigning there have said that it was a very weird day once the news of the attack and her death came through. But Jo Cox stood for democracy and they had to compose themselves and campaign on. Her death should not bring about the demise of democracy:instead it should strengthen us to hold precious something so fragile.
