My DD once tried a mooncup. She couldn't get away with it and went back to tampons.

Gononsuch Thu 23-Jun-16 08:36:56

I just had to google mooncup, I'm going back to sleep, it's to much.shock

Far better to give up sugar! grin

Welshwife Thu 23-Jun-16 08:13:30

I think that a lot of young women are going for a thing called a 'mooncup' - if you get on with that no need to ever buy a tampon again!

whitewave Thu 23-Jun-16 08:12:32

That's because the single market tries to protect its own traders/businesses producing sugar beet sugar as against cane sugar which can't be grown in Europe. I am for supporting our businesses every time.

For those with a sweet tooth, leave is a good result. Tate & Lyle pay a huge tariff on their raw cane sugar imports. So it's not all bad lol

Remember those booze cruises from Dover to Calais, before duty free was abolished?

Will millions of women from France come to the UK on tampon cruises?

Indinana Wed 22-Jun-16 22:51:16

The fact that the pound will be devalued such that the tampons actually cost more in real terms will be conveniently overlooked.

Jalima Wed 22-Jun-16 22:41:48

Millions of women are now changing the way they'll vote!

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 22-Jun-16 22:36:33

a simplified version of that video

"The price of tampons will almost certainly fall if the UK government gets control of VAT rates."

That's something I suppose. For some. smile
