Brexit watch

As Mamie says the UK Govt cannot say what the EU countries will do about the UK citizens living in their countries and obviously it will need to be a reciprocal agreement. The conditions of this agreement will need to be that things in place with regards to health care etc remain the same as changes with these things will impact greatly on people's lives and in many cases will need them to relocate back to their country of origin.

ww, I don't think The Times is supporting a particular candidate. There are articles by various people in support of and critical of all the candidates in approximately equal proportion. I've got the impression that there are front runners and back runners, so to speak, but I didn't need to read opinions and leading articles in the Times to find that out.

Perhaps a 'bias' will emerge after today's vote, but I'm not expecting anything in particular. Perhaps that's because of my own open-mindedness and admission of ignorance. Who knows? So far I favour either Gove or May but since I don't have a vote in the matter that's irrelevant. And it may change as I become better informed.

@ I voted to leave and would do so again,however I acknowledge that the vote was advisory and hope that any decision to leave is taken after following the correct parliamentary procedure.
I expect there are other leave voters who feel the same.
I would be extremely disappointed to remain in the EU as I have been longing to leave for many years,but at the current time,am more concerned at the dreadful behaviour of our elected politicians ,both prior and post referendum.
I am not sure they are capable of making a satisfactory transition.

Instead of the posters and soundbites that we were bombarded with, shouldn't the voters have been given boring facts and figures regarding what remaining or leaving would mean? We seem to be watching with horror that someone like Trump could become President of the USA and don't seem to realise how ridiculous this referendum has been.
