From our infamous local weekly paper

I have just received an email from a hotel (I must be on their mailing list but hadn't realised!)

Christmas at the **** Hotel
Come and Spend Christmas with us in Devon

Underneath the small print says:
Applies to bookings until 28th February 2017, excluding Christmas and New Year.

I'm guessing she nearly blurted out "Oh, he's not my husband ! "

LullyDully, what do you mean 'nearly blew it'? I thought you were pretending to be married anyway, what with the fake wedding ring...

I posted because I found it funny that the add is for trips that took place last month

In 1972 we went on a Golden Rail holiday to Llandudno. We were surrounded by old people, food dreadful. We were put at a table with " the other young couple" who must have been well over40.
We had fun as we were newly in love with a fake wedding ring!!! Those were the days.Nearly blew it when then boyfriend, now husband referred to me as his wife.

Happy days and the sun shone all the time.
