I don't honestly think he has any credibility now. I think most people must know he became a full-blown capitalist (and not a very good one ).

It could be interesting daphnedill with Derek Hatton back in the Labour party.

He's an ex-Tory Scouser (brave man ~lol~) and a bully, but he has a certain 'man of the people' appeal. Apparently he survived Hillsborough. It will be interesting to see how Liverpool responds. Historically, it's pro-Remain (or at least the City centre is) and very anti-Right wing populist.

Labour need to play a clever game here - I hope they're up to it!
