Does 'man of the people' mean that he will be on Tv 50% less and women won't have to watch him?

Anniebach Mon 28-Nov-16 17:12:02

Hatton back in will please the far left , Corbyn must think he us in heaven, after thirty years he is forming his own party , Red Labour Momentum, this is what one idiot claimed as his party when he put himself forward for selection to stand against Goldsmith

Didn't he praise more NHS privatisation? Nuttal that is. I didn't know D Hatton was back in LP. hmm

daphnedill Mon 28-Nov-16 16:29:48

Has he been accepted? I must have missed that.

I don't honestly think he has any credibility now. I think most people must know he became a full-blown capitalist (and not a very good one grin).

It could be interesting daphnedill with Derek Hatton back in the Labour party.

daphnedill Mon 28-Nov-16 15:38:33

He's an ex-Tory Scouser (brave man ~lol~) and a bully, but he has a certain 'man of the people' appeal. Apparently he survived Hillsborough. It will be interesting to see how Liverpool responds. Historically, it's pro-Remain (or at least the City centre is) and very anti-Right wing populist.

Labour need to play a clever game here - I hope they're up to it!

Well, I was going to post that too but thought it could be an ageist remark (but the other way round!).

For those who missed the news (like me) anniebach is referring to Paul Nuttall who has been overwhelmingly elected as the new leader of UKIP with 62.6% of the votes cast.

He's only 39! He looks much older to me...

Jalima Mon 28-Nov-16 15:23:28

I had to look it up anniebach!

Anniebach Mon 28-Nov-16 15:13:14

And Trump won

whitewave Mon 28-Nov-16 15:03:46

Sounded like Trump

Anniebach Mon 28-Nov-16 12:37:16

Just listened to his speech, he is targeting working class labour voters , no interest in Libs or Tories
