Also pledges to hire 10,000 more immigration officers, and to revoke federal grant money from so-called "sanctuary cities" which refuse to deport undocumented immigrants.
Senior civil servants are resigning rather than serve under him.
Lucky old Teresa gets to meet him tomorrow. What's the betting he keeps her waiting, talks at her for 5 minutes about how great he is and how much he loves Scotland, poses for a photoshoot and then sends at least one embarrassing tweet about her afterwards.

Melania looks lovely, why do we care where her ensembles are crafted? None of us care where Kate acquires her wardrobe.

To conflate a suggestion that it's possible the new first lady's outfit wasn't made in the USA into a 'scratching eyes out' remark says more about the person resorting to that criticism than it does about the person who suggests there may be some irony in Trump's focus on the US workforce when his daughter's clothing business has it's stuff made in China .

As far as I can see, all dj said was that Melania's outfit was probably made in China. Which, in the light of her husband's loudly trumpeted desire to keep everything American, would be a bit ironic.

I think it takes a lot of work to turn that into a 'scratching eyes out' remark.

That's hilarious... if he has to hire Mexicans because no one is available to work on the wall.

I will say that as far as I know, Bacon-Davis wages are still in effect, so any US workers will have to be paid at that wage level.

Many years ago I remember when clerk on such a job that these wages were equal to union wages, and that included time and a half over 40 hours.

George W did suspend it during the repairs from Katrina (to save money!) So I wonder if Trump will suspend it during the wall construction? I wonder if the unions will protest at that if it comes to it.
